"Our decision to team with a wedding coordinator was one of the best decisions we made. After interviewing several potential people, we ultimately picked Casey. We had a hectic traveling schedule for residency interviews and wrapping up with medical school, and Casey was totally down for the challenge. She's chill, thorough, thoughtful, organized, and took the time to understand our vision. She never pivoted us in any direction other than our own, and gave gentle guidance throughout the wedding planning process. She was always available by phone, text, or email, and facetimed with us several times. When we freaked out, she was there. When we needed reassurance, she was there.
What we appreciated most about Casey was she never pushed the 'traditional wedding' on us! We cut lots of corners by doing our own flowers, decor, appetizers, and dessert; we got restaurant catering and hired our own bartenders and servers. Getting closer to the wedding, Casey totally took charge of everything. On the day-of, she was a calm and cheerful presence. We let go of everything and boy did she execute! The decor was thoughtfully done and totally reflected who we were, she set up the appetizers and homemade desserts beautifully. She made sure we got champagne and dinner, took care of family drama, moved things big and small.
